| Abstract | The Cambridge Review is carried out annually by the Employment Committee of the European Commission to assess the progress of member states regarding the European Employment Strategy in general and also focussing on a specific area. The 2008 Review focussed on "flexicurity" strategies. The background study prepared by the Budapest Institute takes stock of and evaluates the labour market policies of Hungary concerning active ageing and related areas and offers some recommendations for improving these policies. |
